Every Christmas Eve, after dinner it was our family tradition to open gifts. Before opening gifts, dad would gather the family and share the true meaning of Christmas and the gift of Jesus.

This portrait was painted from a photograph I took of dad preparing to read to Luke 2:1-21

Linda creates from a place of passion, connection, and expression. Linda retired from the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University in 2015. During the last fifteen years before retirement, her job included traveling to national and regional meetings in large cities all over the United States. During her downtime from meetings she visited many art galleries and museums. She was inspired by paintings that create a mood, emotion and atmosphere. Paintings that capture light, color and feeling. In addition, Linda and her husband Nathan have travel from the East Coast to the West visiting many National Parks, forest, and yes more galleries and museums. Thank you Stephen! My dad got to enjoy his portrait for a couple years. He passed at age 91 in 2021. I can say he lived a full life and was a wonderful father.
